Ten years after the July 14, 2016 terror attack in Nice, dignitaries and leaders gathered on Place Masséna for a solemn memorial ceremony presided over by French President Emmanuel Macron.
Joining the victims’ families, associations, local elected officials, former French presidents, former prime ministers, and ministers, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco took part in the remembrance. Welcomed by Eric Ciotti, Mayor of Nice, the Princely Couple joined the emotional gathering to pay their respects and reflect on the tragedy.



Through their presence, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene reaffirmed the Principality of Monaco’s strong solidarity with France. Their participation underscored Monaco's unwavering support for all victims of the attack, ensuring that the memory of the tragedy remains deeply rooted in the collective consciousness.
