On Saturday, July 12, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, President and Vice-President of the Monaco Red Cross, joined by Camille Gottlieb, Louis Ducruet, and Marie Ducruet, attended the 76th Monaco Red Cross Gala at the iconic Salle des Étoiles in the Sporting Monte-Carlo. This annual event, a cornerstone of Monaco’s social calendar, celebrating the unwavering generosity of its donors, whose contributions make its mission possible.
The 2025 gala carried a profound significance, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of Prince Albert II’s accession to the throne. The milestone infused the evening with a reflective and emotional resonance, most poignantly captured in a heartfelt address by Princess Charlene. Speaking with tenderness and pride, she paid tribute to her husband’s steadfast leadership of both the Monaco Red Cross and the Principality itself, highlighting his dedication to environmental causes and the well-being of Monaco’s people. “This July 12 marks 20 years of your accession,” she said. “Since that day, you have led Monaco with wisdom, courage, and determination. You have initiated many changes in Monaco, sometimes involving difficult decisions, always guided by your desire for unity and serenity for our country. Monseigneur, Albert, you know I will always stand by your side, as will all Monégasques. We are with you, wholeheartedly, to protect Monaco and its future under your leadership. We love you, we support you, and we thank you for being there for us all.”

A refined dinner, crafted by Chef Thierry Saez Manzanares, set the stage for the gala’s traditional tombola, featuring exceptional prizes donated by prestigious houses. The night reached its crescendo with a dazzling fireworks display that lit up the sky, followed by an electrifying performance by British rock legend Billy Idol, whose energy captivated the audience.
