As the Mediterranean season accelerates, the seaside venue La Note Bleue has announced its 2026 Summer Festival schedule. Throughout the summer months, the venue will host a rotating series of performances, blending live concerts with curated DJ sets against the backdrop of the Monaco coast. The festival’s programming emphasizes a broad stylistic range, encompassing funk, soul, jazz, and world music, serving as an invitation for both residents and visitors to engage with diverse musical genres, ranging from modern gospel to neo-soul and traditional carnival rhythms.
The festival commences on May 29 with a performance by Scott Allen, featuring a repertoire of soul, R&B, and funk. The schedule continues through August with a diverse array of artists and ensembles. June features a special series of house and disco-funk DJ sets held from June 4 to 7 to coincide with the Grand Prix, followed by Les Nubians on June 12 and 13, Oscar Jerome on June 19 and 20, More Than Soul on June 26, and the samba ensemble Tamo Junto on June 27. The July calendar includes Shiny Gospel on July 3, The Brooklyn Funk Essentials on July 4, a tribute to D’Angelo and Angie Stone by The Sankofa Family on July 10 and 11, Nux Vomica on July 17, Tamo Junto on July 18, Brian Jackson on July 24 and 25, and Flexie x Rom D Collective on July 31. The festival concludes in August with performances by JVNO on August 1, Larry Houl on August 7 and 8, Hyleen on August 15 and 16, Emily Johnson’s tribute to Whitney Houston on August 21, a final appearance by Tamo Junto on August 22, and performances by Groovyboyz on August 28 and Carlos Lopes on August 29.
La Note Bleue has framed this year’s festival as an opportunity for musical discovery, integrating specialized DJ sets with live instrumentation to maintain a consistent atmosphere throughout the summer.
