Monaco’s Hôtel Métropole is set to become the epicentre of refined taste and rare collectibles as Wannenes returns with an exclusive summer auction on July 7 and 8, 2025. With over 570 curated pieces ranging from fine jewellery to designer handbags and coveted timepieces, the event promises to attract collectors and connoisseurs from across the globe.
Founded in Genoa—a city with deep roots in goldsmithing—Wannenes has grown into a leading name in European auctions. Since expanding to Monaco in 2018, the house has become a trusted destination for lovers of exceptional artistry and rarity.
Jewellery enthusiasts will be treated to a selection of 344 exquisite creations, thanks to the expertise of Teresa Scarlata, who has spent 40 years mastering the art of evaluating fine gems. Highlights include a transformative 19th-century Boucheron-Auger necklace that converts into a brooch and hair ornament, and a spectacular 1925 bracelet by Louis Maruzzi, featuring an array of amethysts, diamonds, and emeralds.
Luxury fashion also plays a starring role. Among the standout accessories are a turquoise Hermès Kelly bag (lot 91), a dove grey Birkin 35 (lot 96), and a striking Chanel creation in black leather adorned with pearls (lot 98).
Watch collectors will have their moment as well, with 143 exceptional timepieces on offer. Topping the list is a pink gold Patek Philippe Annual Calendar model from 2012, alongside a rare coral-faced Rolex Day-Date from 1977 and a white gold Daytona introduced in 2011.
Viewings open on July 4, ahead of the auction days. For details and the full catalogue, visit the Wannenes website—a gateway to timeless craftsmanship and luxury at its finest.
