A Sovereign Farewell: Norway Bids Final Adieu to King Harald V

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the state funeral of King Harald V of Norway on Wednesday, September 9, joining numerous authorities and representatives of sovereign families from around the world. The solemn proceedings in Oslo included a traditional procession accompanying the monarch's coffin from the Royal Palace to the historic Oslo Cathedral.
Following the church service, the Princely Family joined other foreign royals and dignitaries in paying their respects. In the wake of the ceremonies, the Princely Family formally expressed their profound sympathy to King Haakon VIII, the Royal Family of Norway, and the Norwegian people.
