At Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo, the arrival of spring is not merely a season—it is an immersive artistic experience. Beginning March 11, the hotel introduces its latest Métropole Mood, Spring Melody, transforming the Lobby Bar into a radiant celebration of light, color, and renewal.
A signature of the property, the Métropole Mood is a quarterly artistic installation designed to reimagine the hotel’s iconic spaces. In dialogue with the opulent interiors created by Jacques Garcia, each new scenography plays with contrasts—light against shadow, vibrancy against depth—offering guests an ever-evolving sensory journey.

For this spring edition, the lobby is enveloped in a luminous spectrum of yellow hues, from bright citrus to warm mustard tones. The effect is that of an indoor sun, casting a gentle glow over rich wood paneling and plush velvets. At the heart of the space, four sculptural aviaries rise like poetic relics of another era. Within them, soft candlelight flickers, surrounded by seasonal blooms—daffodils, ranunculus, and tulips—arranged in a refined, graphic composition. Rather than replicating nature, Spring Melody captures its essence, evoking the feeling of a hidden garden quietly awaiting the return of sunlight.

This vision comes to life through the artistry of Miss Rose by Perrine, whose floral installations are crafted exclusively from fresh, seasonal flowers. With a commitment to sustainability, the selection prioritizes local producers from the Var region and Italy. As the weeks pass, the composition subtly evolves, allowing returning guests to rediscover the space through ever-changing botanical expressions.
Extending the experience beyond the visual, the Lobby Bar introduces Floraison, a cocktail inspired by the installation’s солнечная palette. Built around Prince Explorer gin infused with clementine zest, the drink is layered with orange liqueur from Monaco’s distillery and the herbal complexity of Amaro Santini. Clarified using a modern milk punch technique with clementine juice and a blend of coconut and whole milk, it achieves a silky texture and crystal-clear appearance.
The final flourish is theatrical: as saffron syrup is poured, the cocktail transforms before the eyes—like a flower blooming—revealing warm, honeyed and subtly spiced notes. Garnished with an edible yellow flower, Floraison becomes a liquid echo of the suspended garden surrounding it.
With Spring Melody, Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo once again proves that hospitality can be an art form—one that delights, surprises, and lingers long after the season fades.
