BEAUSOLEIL, France — The elite of international padel are set to light up the Côte d’Azur. From March 21 to 30, the Tennis Padel Club of Beausoleil, at 1690 Avenue des Combattants en Afrique du Nord, will host the A1 Padel France Grand Master, a standout event on the A1 Padel Tour. This ten-day tournament, running from 10 a.m. on Friday, March 21, to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 30, brings the circuit’s top players to France for the fifth stop of the 2025 season and the first “Grand Master” of the year — a prestigious showcase driven by Monegasque entrepreneur Fabrice Pastor, the tour’s founder and a devoted padel enthusiast.
Padel thrives on a tapestry of independent circuits, each with its own rankings and stars. The A1 Padel Tour is one such league, and for this Beausoleil event, only its highest-ranked players will compete. The Grand Master, the tour’s top tier above Open and Master categories, features 48 teams, the most ranking points, and unmatched competitive intensity. Following an opening tournament in Argentina, this French stage marks a critical moment in the season’s arc.

Cristina Pastor, tournament director and head of the Beausoleil club, calls it “an exceptional spectacle in a dynamic yet friendly atmosphere.” Hosting the event for the fourth time, she cherishes the players’ return. “It is a privilege to see such elite athletes returning year after year to this French event,” she said. “A strong bond of trust has developed with the players, who feel at home here.” That connection, she added, “guarantees an incredibly high level of competition, with matches that promise to be intense and fiercely contested.”
The schedule builds steadily. The round of 32 begins March 21 with six matches from 10 a.m., followed by five each on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. The round of 16 unfolds Monday and Tuesday with eight matches daily from 9 a.m., then quarterfinals take over Wednesday and Thursday with four matches each from 11 a.m. The final stretch — quarterfinals on Friday, semifinals on Saturday with two matches from 11 a.m., and the final on Sunday at 11 a.m. — delivers a thrilling close. Entry is free from March 21 to 28, welcoming all to soak in the matches and ambiance. For the semifinals and final, admission is 10 euros, while VIP tickets, at 50 euros, are available by emailing contact@tennispadelsoleil.fr.
The Grand Master’s weight is clear. “A Grand Master is an exceptional opportunity to showcase our best players to spectators,” Ms. Pastor said. “With high-stakes matches, a larger main draw, higher prize money, and crucial ranking points up for grabs, this event is a turning point in the current season.” The A1 Padel Tour, a year-round global circuit, gains momentum with each event, and Beausoleil stands to draw crowds eager for this growing sport.
A P500 tournament on March 20 sets the stage, pitting top French teams against one another. “The P500 tournament we are organizing will offer the winning pair a wild card entry into the Grand Master main draw, which starts on March 21,” Ms. Pastor noted. “Beyond the title itself, the athletes will have extra motivation: securing their place to compete against the best international players on this circuit.” This nationally sanctioned event, awarding 500 ranking points, underscores France’s rising padel scene.
The Tennis Padel Club of Beausoleil, ever refining its facilities, aims to provide the best conditions for players and fans alike. Book your spot at billetweb.fr/a1-padel-france-grand-master. As the A1 Padel France Grand Master looms, the Côte d’Azur braces for a clash of skill and spirit.
