Demonstrating exceptional academic performance, students in Monaco have achieved outstanding results on this year's Diplôme National du Brevet (DNB) exams.
Lionel Beffre, Government Counselor-Minister of Interior, presided over an official ceremony to formally honor students who received the highest rating - Très Bien - on the national secondary school examination. The ceremony celebrated the high mark of excellence set across the Principality's educational institutions.
According to official figures released by the Princely Government, 393 out of 401 students passed the DNB this year, representing an overall success rate of 98 percent.
Academic distinction was notably widespread, with more than 86 percent of all test-takers earning honors (mentions). In total, 340 candidates - or 86.5 percent of students - achieved distinction across three performance tiers:
A total of 31.3 percent of candidates received Très Bien honors, including 29 students awarded Très Bien avec les félicitations du jury. Another 29.5 percent earned Bien honors, while 25.7 percent achieved Assez Bien honors.
The Princely Government commended the students and academic staff, applauding the results as an exemplary success for Monaco's educational system.
