art3f Monaco Returns: Over 3,500 Contemporary Works Await

Monaco’s contemporary art scene comes alive once again as art3f returns for its sixth edition from 19 to 21 September. Set in the elegant Marquee at Fontvieille, the fair promises a fresh, approachable take on art—inviting both seasoned collectors and curious newcomers to explore without intimidation. “We want to provide an experience that is accessible to all, where everyone can approach art without preconceived notions and let emotion guide their choices,” the organisers explain.

This year, art3f raises the bar with a record number of participants. Over 200 artists and galleries from France and abroad will exhibit more than 3,500 works, including paintings, sculptures, and photography. The fair spans a remarkable range of styles—from expressionism, abstraction, and minimalism to graffiti, kinetic art, and pop art—blending emerging talent with established names. Visitors can wander freely, enjoying the artworks in a relaxed, informal setting that feels more like a creative community than a traditional gallery.

One of the fair’s highlights is its focus on direct interaction between artists and visitors. Each exhibitor will host their own reception space, allowing for conversations that reveal the stories, inspirations, and techniques behind the works. Meanwhile, a restaurant with a terrace offers a welcome pause for refreshments, making the fair a full-day cultural outing.

Beyond the exhibition, art3f celebrates Monaco’s rich artistic heritage, prompting reflections on figures who have lived and worked in the principality, from Bacon and Cocteau to Botero.

Whether you’re hunting for your next masterpiece or simply soaking up creativity, art3f Monaco provides a vibrant, accessible window into the contemporary art world.
