Artmonte-carlo and Monaco Art Week Return to Monaco This Summer

Following successful 7th and 5th editions respectively, these two major art events are back in the Principality.

In July, art will once again take over Monaco! The eighth edition of the artmonte-carlo fair will be held from July 6 to 7, 2024, while the sixth Monaco Art Week will run from July 2 to 7. Both events, under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II, have announced their programming simultaneously.

This year, the artmonte-carlo fair will host 27 international galleries of modern and contemporary art, featuring over 200 artists at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. Regular participants like Perrotin, Mennour, Van de Weghe, Vedovi, Franco Noero, and Nathalie Obadia will be joined by newcomers such as Lisson Gallery, Lelong & Co., Georges-Philippe & Nathalie Vallois, Larkin Erdmann Fine Art, ML Fine Art, Semiose, and Wilde. Local galleries including Hauser & Wirth, Almine Rech, Retelet, Moretti, and Opera will also be present.

This year’s fair introduces a new lounge space designed by Ruinart and Roche Bobois, along with new collaborations with Monaco’s cultural institutions like the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, Théâtre Princesse Grace, and Pavillon Bosio.

In conjunction with artmonte-carlo, Monaco Art Week will offer a series of exhibitions across various districts from July 2 to 7. The program includes numerous meetings, debates, and conferences, featuring sculpture, painting, and fine jewelry. This edition brings together 19 participants, including Artcurial, Boghossian, Christie’s, collect|mc, Hauser & Wirth, HOFA, Hôtel des Ventes de Monte-Carlo, Kamil Art Gallery, Lebreton, Elisabeth Lillo-Renner, Moretti Fine Art, NM Contemporary, Opera Gallery, Almine Rech, Galerie Retelet, Galerie Adriano Ribolzi, Sotheby’s, Teos Gallery Monte-Carlo, M.F. Toninelli Art Moderne, and, for the first time, Galerie Almine Rech.

Monaco is set to become a vibrant hub of artistic activity this summer, promising a rich cultural experience for all attendees.
