In a remarkable display of philanthropy and partnership, AS Monaco has donated a substantial five-figure sum to the Oceanographic Institute. This generous donation was made as part of a collaboration between AS Monaco, the Oceanographic Institute, and their apparel sponsor, Kappa.
On Tuesday, July 9, Thiago Scuro, General Manager of AS Monaco, presented a cheque to Cyril Gomez, Deputy General Manager of the Oceanographic Institute. This donation was the culmination of a unique initiative in which five euros from each sale of the special edition OCEANO jersey, inspired by the Mediterranean coast, were earmarked for the Institute. Through this campaign, a total of €20,245 was raised to support the vital work of the Oceanographic Institute.
"We were proud to wear this jersey full of symbols and to have had the opportunity to undertake this unprecedented project with the Museum’s team. We hope it has raised awareness about ocean conservation among many people. We will continue to follow and support the Institute’s efforts in its mission," stated Thiago Scuro.
Since last year, AS Monaco and the Oceanographic Institute have been actively working together to raise awareness about ocean conservation and biodiversity. This ongoing partnership has led to several initiatives aimed at engaging the public and promoting the protection of our oceans.
