At the Grimaldi Forum, a Summer Exhibition Chronicles Monaco’s Racing Heritage

This summer, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco will spotlight the enduring racing ethos through its flagship series, "Une voiture, une histoire" ("One car, one story"). The retrospective offers an extensive curation of historic vehicles tracing the evolution of automotive engineering in the Principality from 1893 to the modern era.

Central to this summer’s exhibition is the B.R.M. P-578 (1962). Driven by the legendary Graham Hill during the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix, car no. 10 famously negotiated the iconic Grand Hôtel Hairpin - situated at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo - ultimately securing a sixth-place finish. The vehicle stands as a testament to an era when the tight trajectories of the Monégasque track forced a shift away from sheer horsepower in favor of meticulous mechanical discipline and exacting driver execution.

The broader exhibition, "Monaco & l'Automobile, de 1893 à nos jours," is organized in close cooperation with the Automobile Club de Monaco. The event is supported by a coalition of institutional and corporate partners, including CMB Monaco, Sotheby’s, Groupe Marzocco, Groupe Segond Automobiles, and Acqua Fiuggi.

The exhibition is scheduled to run from July 1 through September 6, 2026, with an exceptional closure on Saturday, August 22. Doors will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with extended viewing hours on Thursdays until 10 p.m.
