This summer, Monaco invites you to step into the future—literally. Until 2nd September 2025, the Collection de Voitures de S.A.S. le Prince de Monaco hosts a one-of-a-kind exhibition that redefines the boundaries of engineering, innovation, and imagination. The spotlight? Four extraordinary rovers designed for lunar and Martian missions, created by Monaco-based Venturi Space in partnership with North America’s Astrolab.
This showcase isn’t just about high-tech machinery—it’s a statement of Monaco’s role in tomorrow’s space exploration. Visitors will be able to witness the pioneering FLEX rover, which is already earmarked for a 2027 journey to the Moon’s south pole aboard a SpaceX mission. Its ultra-adaptable wheels and state-of-the-art batteries were developed in Monaco and Switzerland, representing a true European alliance of precision and progress. In fact, NASA has included it in their strategy to return to the Moon—an endorsement that cements Venturi’s global relevance.
Also featured is the Martian version of the FLEX, tailored for future Red Planet missions. Like its lunar twin, it boasts Swiss-engineered wheels and cutting-edge Monégasque battery systems, proving that the Principality’s innovations are built to thrive beyond Earth.
Adding to the display is the FLIP rover, which will soon make its own historic landing near the Moon’s south pole as part of a collaboration with Astrobotic and SpaceX. Finally, the Mona Luna rover, Venturi’s European space dream in the making, aims to become the continent’s first fully operational lunar vehicle by 2030. Led from Toulouse, but powered by expertise from Monaco and beyond, it’s a true testament to international ambition.
Since pivoting from electric racing to cosmic engineering in 2021 under Gildo Pastor’s visionary leadership, Venturi has become synonymous with space mobility. Now, with the public unveiling of these futuristic machines in Monaco, the world can witness first-hand how a small Principality is helping shape humanity’s next giant leap.
This immersive exhibition is not only for space enthusiasts—it’s for dreamers, innovators, and anyone curious about the future. Don’t miss your chance to see tomorrow’s explorers up close, right here in the heart of Monaco.
