Monaco’s Department of Cultural Affairs is launching a vibrant new photography competition, encouraging young talents to explore the Principality’s architectural heritage. This initiative, part of the 2025 European Heritage Days, invites young individuals to look at Monaco’s urban landscape through a creative and fresh lens.
A Chance to Showcase Monaco’s Charm
The competition is open to young people aged 11 to 25—whether Monegasque, residents, students, or professionals—giving them the opportunity to capture the essence of Monaco’s iconic structures. From grand buildings to hidden architectural details, participants are encouraged to explore every aspect of the city’s design.
An Open-Air Exhibition for Young Photographers
A panel of experts will select 15 standout photographs, which will then be displayed in a prominent open-air exhibition at the Jardins Saint-Martin from June 3 to October 5, 2025. This gives young photographers a chance to showcase their work to a broad audience in one of Monaco’s most scenic locations.
Peer-Driven Judging Process
In an innovative twist, a group of young individuals—just like the participants—will have the opportunity to judge the final entries and select four prize-winning photographs. This approach puts the next generation at the center of the creative process.
Entries are open until April 25, 2025 on culture.mc For more information, email infodac@gouv.mc
