The Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer Group has teamed up with Crystal, a specialist in luxury cruises, to launch the first-ever Casino de Monte-Carlo at sea by the end of 2024. This initiative marks Monte-Carlo SBM’s inaugural international venture into gaming, extending its 160-year legacy of high-stakes entertainment beyond Monaco.
On Thursday, June 20, a formal agreement was signed at the Monte-Carlo Casino by Pascal Camia, Chief International Development Officer of Monte-Carlo SBM, and Cristina Levis, CEO of A&K Travel Group. The signing was witnessed by Stéphane Valeri, Chairman and CEO of Monte-Carlo SBM, and Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio, Executive Chairman of A&K Travel Group.
This collaboration aims to redefine onboard entertainment by bringing the renowned Monte-Carlo gaming experience to Crystal cruise passengers. The first Casino de Monte-Carlo at sea will debut on November 14, 2024, aboard the Crystal Symphony departing from Venice. Games such as Blackjack, Three Card Poker, Texas Hold’Em Ultimate, and American Roulette will be featured on the Symphony, with the Crystal Serenity expected to offer the same starting December this year.
Monte-Carlo SBM will leverage its extensive expertise in gaming while Crystal will manage the casino operations. The Casino de Monte-Carlo teams will oversee the implementation and transmission of their renowned gaming codes and experience.
