A new chapter of sweetness is unfolding in Monaco as the internationally acclaimed pastry maestro, Cédric Grolet, sets his sights on the Principality. This summer, the celebrated chef—known for redefining modern pâtisserie—will unveil Cédric Grolet Monte-Carlo, his highly anticipated boutique at the legendary Hôtel de Paris.
Recently named Executive Pastry Chef of the iconic palace, Grolet is ready to bring his artistic flair to the Riviera. Famed for his visually stunning trompe-l’œil pastries and fruit-inspired creations, he has amassed over 11 million followers on Instagram and earned the title of “World’s Best Pastry Chef” in 2018. His arrival signals a bold new era for Monaco’s luxury dining scene.
Nestled in the hotel’s elegant patio, the intimate tea room will offer a refined experience from morning to evening. Guests can indulge in a full day of delights—from inventive breakfast bites to a leisurely lunch, and, of course, a signature afternoon tea. Expect to find Grolet’s iconic creations like Fleur Citron, Mangue, Diamant Framboise, and Fleur Vanille, alongside new treats exclusively crafted for Monaco.
In a touching tribute to the Principality, the chef will also unveil a bespoke pastry dedicated to H.S.H. Prince Albert II during the boutique’s grand summer opening—a regal nod to his new culinary home.
“Monaco represents the excellence I strive for every day,” says Grolet. “This collaboration is the culmination of 25 years of passion and dedication.”
With this exciting opening, Monte-Carlo further affirms its position as a global hub of refined taste, creativity, and gastronomic excellence—welcoming one of the world’s brightest stars in pâtisserie to its shores.
