In a Principality known for its cultural sophistication and philanthropic tradition, the debut of CHOKOLASHOW® on 9 May 2024 marked a defining moment. Held in the iconic Tunnel Riva in Monte-Carlo under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, and with the support of the Embassy of Italy in the Principality, the event seamlessly brought together art, chocolate, and social responsibility. In a striking display of creativity, eight internationally renowned artists transformed monumental slabs of chocolate into one-of-a-kind works of art. The pieces were subsequently auctioned in a benefit for local non-profit organizations - an initiative made even more poignant by the presence of the Sovereign and his children, H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.

Building on the momentum of its inaugural success, CHOKOLASHOW® returns in 2025 with a bold and imaginative new theme inspired by the nautical world. The second edition charts a carefully curated journey of artistic collaboration and public engagement, culminating in a gala evening of charity and celebration on 14 October.
The calendar begins on 15 September 2025 with the official delivery of the chocolate slabs to the eight selected artists at Wannenes Art Contact in Monte-Carlo. Each artist will receive not only their raw medium - a large chocolate slab - but also a nautical-themed image to be engraved or interpreted, assigned through a draw.
From 25 September to 10 October, the public is invited to witness the creative process during an open exhibition of the unfinished chocolate works at Wannenes Art Contact. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage directly with the art and cast their vote in the CHOKOLASHOW® Contest, a public appreciation component designed to deepen audience interaction.
The festivities expand on 13 October with the opening of the CHOKOLASHOW® Village at the Hôtel Méridien Beach Plaza, open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in a vibrant and convivial setting. Local chocolatiers and pastry chefs will present their finest creations, offering guests a sensory exploration of Monaco’s rich culinary artistry.
The event reaches its crescendo on 14 October. at 7:00 p.m. by the charity auction of the completed chocolate artworks, conducted by Wannenes Art Auctions, with proceeds directed to eight local non-profit associations. The evening concludes with a gastronomic dinner at 8:30 p.m., conceived exclusively for CHOKOLASHOW® by Chef Laurent Collin, offering an elegant close to a day that celebrates generosity, artistry, and shared humanity.
As CHOKOLASHOW® evolves into a cultural fixture on the Monegasque calendar, it affirms that art and flavor, when guided by a purpose greater than themselves, can inspire lasting impact.
