Chokolashow 2025: Where Chocolate Meets Art and Charity

Monaco is once again preparing to blend sweetness with creativity as the Hôtel Méridien Beach Plaza hosts the second edition of Chokolashow, scheduled for 13–14 October 2025. More than just a gastronomic celebration, this initiative, held under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II and with the support of the Italian Embassy, transforms chocolate into a medium of artistic expression—all for a good cause.

The journey begins with artists receiving their cocoa “canvases,” which they have ten days to reimagine into striking works of art. These pieces will be unveiled during a public exhibition from 25 September to 10 October before being auctioned on 14 October at the charity gala. Meanwhile, the Chokolashow Village will welcome visitors with tastings, workshops for children, and chocolate-inspired displays, offering a festive experience for the entire community.

At the heart of the event lies its philanthropic mission. Organized by the Monaco International Hub Association, chaired by journalist Maria Bologna, Chokolashow directs all proceeds from the auction to eight local charities, including Action Innocence, Fight Aids Monaco, the Flavien Foundation, Les Enfants de Frankie, and Enfance et Cancer, among others. The initiative reflects Monaco’s long-standing commitment to pairing cultural innovation with social responsibility.

This year, the spotlight falls on eight international artists—Patrick Bibal, Toni Belfatto, Luca Bestetti, Monica Di Rocco, Ilham El Jadaoui, Patrizia A. Salles, Manou (Emanuela Vavassori), and Fabienne Henry—who will draw inspiration from the nautical world. Their creations will also be subject to a public vote, adding an interactive dimension to the competition.

Continuity with the inaugural 2024 edition is assured. Painter Valentina Trassy, last year’s winner, has been commissioned to design the 2025 trophy, while renowned artist Marcos Marin will reveal the visual concept for 2026.

Chokolashow proves once more that art, cuisine, and philanthropy can be seamlessly intertwined in Monaco’s vibrant cultural calendar.
