As AS Monaco celebrates its 100th anniversary, the club has planned an array of surprises for its devoted fans. This historic year not only marks a century of football excellence but also coincides with AS Monaco's highly anticipated return to the Champions League.
On August 23, AS Monaco will celebrate its centennial, commemorating a journey that began in 1924 following the merger of several local clubs. Over the past century, AS Monaco has emerged as one of France’s most prestigious clubs, boasting eight Ligue 1 titles, five Coupe de France victories, four Trophée des Champions wins, and a Coupe de la Ligue.
The club has also made its mark on the European stage, reaching the Champions League semi-finals four times and playing in the final in 2004. Fans are hopeful that history will repeat itself 20 years later with another deep run in the tournament.
To commemorate this special season, AS Monaco has unveiled a new home kit and plans to reveal its away and third kits in early August. A special "100 Years" capsule collection will also be available, complete with a dedicated visual identity across all communication platforms.
Mark your calendars: from August 1 to 25, Port Hercule will transform into the AS Monaco Village! This festive and interactive space will feature numerous activities, including a football field for exciting summer matches. Various surprise events will keep fans entertained all summer long, offering memorable moments for both young and old.
In addition to the festivities, AS Monaco has launched an exceptional subscription campaign in honor of its 100th anniversary. Fans are encouraged to join and be part of this historic season.
The centennial celebration will also include a unique film that delves into the club’s rich history, which will be available on AS Monaco’s media platforms. Complementing the film, a special "grand book" will be published in August, capturing key moments and iconic figures that have shaped the club.
The highlight of the centennial celebrations will be during the match against Montpellier, which is also celebrating its 50th anniversary, on the weekend of September 27. The Louis-II Stadium will be filled with surprises for the occasion. On the field, players will don a limited-edition collector’s jersey, with priority sales for subscribers. This grand event will bring together former key players and dedicated supporters to celebrate this symbolic season together.
