Monaco Voice’s 40 under 40: Doru Borsan Jr
Doru Borsan Jr, a 22-year-old entrepreneur, has already made a significant impact on the world in unconventional ways. He is the co-founder of RuA, a project that connects Romanians worldwide with their culture, food, and people. Additionally, he serves as a project manager for Neotech, an innovative project that utilizes data from real cities to create virtual 1-to-1 replicas.
Doru's entrepreneurial spirit emerged at the age of six when he began to learn tennis from his father. He quickly became passionate about the sport and even pursued it professionally, leaving behind the comforts of home to focus on his personal success. However, he soon realized that his growth was limited by factors outside of his control, such as coaches and other players. This realization led him to leave the country at a young age, learning to navigate the world alone and developing his character in the process.
Despite the challenges he faced during those years, Doru Jr embraced the opportunity to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. This experience taught him the importance of unity, embracing different perspectives, and learning from others. He returned to Romania at the age of 18, determined to create a meaningful platform that would enable others to connect with their culture and country. RuA was born, offering a range of features such as a socializing app, travel booking, and online store for Romanian products.
Looking ahead, Doru Jr plans to continue learning, collaborating with good quality people, and embracing new opportunities. He believes that the key to success is surrounding oneself with individuals who share similar values and aspirations. Despite his young age, Doru is confident that there is much more to come and is excited about what the future holds.
