Exciting Monte-Carlo Showdown returns to the Casino

Matchroom Boxing's Eddie Hearn is set to bring another thrilling boxing event to Monaco with the upcoming Monte-Carlo Showdown, scheduled for December 14, 2024. Following the success of last year's event at the iconic Casino de Monte-Carlo, expectations are high for this year's matchup, promising an electrifying night of world-class boxing.

The previous showdown featured notable bouts, including Edward Vasquez's fierce competition against Joe Cordina, the reigning IBF super-featherweight champion. Additionally, Adrian Curiel made headlines by claiming the IBF light-flyweight title with an unexpected second-round knockout of Sivenathi Nontshinga. The women's division was equally captivating, with Ramla Ali avenging a prior defeat against Julissa Alejandra Guzman in a dramatic 10-round contest.

Hearn expressed enthusiasm for the return of Matchroom Boxing to the Principality, stating, “I’m thrilled to announce Monte-Carlo Showdown V will take place on December 14th. We will host the event at the stunning Salle des Étoiles for the first time since 2016. This event has established itself as a key highlight on Monaco's sports and entertainment calendar, drawing fighters, media, and fans who all appreciate the unique experience it offers. We will unveil the full fight lineup shortly, but attendees can expect another unforgettable evening of World Championship Boxing.”

As anticipation builds for the Monte-Carlo Showdown, boxing aficionados can look forward to an exceptional lineup, ensuring the event remains a must-see on the Monaco calendar.
