Exhibition Revisits 1956 'Wedding of the Century' at the Prince's Palace

The Prince’s Palace is hosting a new exhibition titled "Wedding of the Century. Monaco, 12-19 April 1956," which invites the public to explore the historic union of Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly.

The exhibition, which is open to the public until September 25, offers a unique opportunity for visitors to relive the atmosphere surrounding an event that captivated audiences across the globe. The display features a curated collection of previously unseen archives, iconic photographs, and exceptional memorabilia.

Prince Albert II, the Princess of Hanover, and Princess Alexandra of Hanover recently visited the exhibition, which was organized by curators Thomas Fouilleron and Vincent Vatrican. The retrospective serves as a significant window into one of the most memorable moments in the history of the Principality.
