As part of the centenary commemorations of St Paul’s Anglican Church, a special concert will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, featuring a performance of Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem by former members of the Crypt Choir of the King’s School, Canterbury.

The concert, which begins at 7:00 p.m. at St Paul’s Anglican Church (22 Avenue de Grande Bretagne), is open to the public and free of charge. The evening’s program will open with a selection of sacred and secular works by composers including Anton Bruckner and Charles Villiers Stanford, reflecting the breadth and tradition of Anglican choral music.

Founded in 597 A.D., the King’s School, Canterbury is the oldest continuously operating school in England and is situated within the historic precincts of Canterbury Cathedral. Its choir, particularly the Crypt Choir, is renowned for its musical excellence and long-standing liturgical tradition. This performance marks the third visit to Monaco by former members of the ensemble in the past decade.

The singers will be accompanied by James Rogers, Assistant Organist at Canterbury Cathedral, further underscoring the historic musical ties between the cathedral and the choir.

The concert serves as a musical highlight in the series of centenary events planned by St Paul’s Anglican Church to celebrate its 100 years of service to the local and international community in Monaco.
