Grace de Monaco has launched an exquisite collection of sunglasses, with all proceeds benefiting the Princess Grace Foundation-USA.
As summer shines on the Côte d’Azur, the need for stylish sun protection becomes paramount. Grace de Monaco's new sunglasses collection, comprising eight elegant pairs, pays tribute to Princess Grace's timeless style.
"When your muse is as timeless as Princess Grace, the iconic moments to draw inspiration from are endless," says Claudia Poccia, CEO of Grace de Monaco. “This collection reimagines what Princess Grace herself might wear today.”
The "Drama" collection draws inspiration from Princess Grace’s many iconic roles. Each pair is named after a character she portrayed (such as Frances, Margot, Tracy, Georgie) or one of her charismatic co-stars like Cary Grant (Robie).
The brand emphasizes unparalleled craftsmanship, durability, and high-quality materials. The lightweight frames are crafted in Italy by a family-owned company using sustainable plant-based acetate. The custom lenses are polarized, anti-reflective, scratch-resistant, and provide 100% UV protection.
The "Grand Prix" collection features models named after turns on the Monaco Grand Prix circuit: Rascasse, Sainte Dévote, Mirabeau, and Piscine. Handcrafted in Italy from recycled metal with a hypoallergenic coating, these sunglasses also offer 100% UV protection.
Established in 1982 by Prince Rainier III in memory of his wife, the Princess Grace Foundation-USA is based in New York and dedicated to advancing the arts in the United States through the Princess Grace Awards. These awards support emerging talents in theater, dance, and film with generous grants. To date, the foundation has honored over 900 recipients.
