On Friday, December 19, 2025, six primary school students in the Principality took part in a cherished annual ritual known as the Geste de Noël, a heartfelt initiative organized by the Monaco Town Hall's Service des Seniors et de l'Action Sociale to support the most isolated elderly residents.
Starting at 9 a.m., the young volunteers participated in distributing food baskets and gifts to approximately 30 beneficiaries, delivering moments of sharing and human warmth as the holiday season approached.
The event unfolded in the presence of several municipal officials, including Camille Svara, the first deputy mayor; Marjorie Crovetto, second deputy; Jean-Marc Deoriti-Castellini, seventh deputy; Karyn Ardisson Salopek, eighth deputy; Nada Lorenzi; and Nathalie Vaccarezza, all serving as communal councilors. They joined teams from the Service des Seniors et de l'Action Sociale in the effort.
Each senior received a basket filled with gourmet specialties, chocolates, and a poinsettia - the traditional symbol of Christmas.

Following the distributions, the young participants were thanked for their commitment with a friendly gathering and treats provided by the Service des Seniors et de l'Action Sociale.
This act of intergenerational solidarity was particularly appreciated by the recipients, exemplifying community spirit in the Principality.
