In Monte-Carlo, Architecture Meets the Quiet Art of Living

Within the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, the unveiling of Gustave - a refined bar located in the landmark establishment - represents a conscious return to the Art of Living. Framed by the hotel’s classic Belle Époque architecture, the venue pairs timeless historical proportions with contemporary sophistication.

Situated within the historic property famous for its soaring glass cupola designed by Gustave Eiffel, the new space honors the spirit of the traditional salon. Conceived by interior architect Shirine Zirak in collaboration with Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, Gustave’s layout spans two adjacent rooms and extends onto the Winter Garden terrace, creating an intimate sanctuary designed for measured conversation.

The concept extends beyond visual heritage into the realm of hospitality and mixology. Under the leadership of Frank Carcamo and head bartender Julien Lecharpentier, the program emphasizes bespoke service, precision, and high-end creation. By harmonizing architectural elegance with thoughtful, contemporary gathering, Gustave affirms that the art of genuine human connection remains an enduring virtue in high hospitality.
