Indosuez Wealth Management Expands

Indosuez Wealth Management has announced the expansion of its successful “StartUp Connections” platform to clients in Belgium, Luxembourg, Monaco, and Switzerland. This digital platform, initially launched in France, provides simplified access to a global network of startups.

Developed by the Indosuez Innovation Lab, “StartUp Connections” features over 100 international startups seeking funding or business relationships. Clients can access the platform online or via mobile, allowing them to invest in projects directly alongside entrepreneurs. Users can register on the platform, select startups based on criteria like business sector, maturity, or environmental impact, and request introductions to these startups.

Since its launch in France six years ago, “StartUp Connections” has facilitated over 250 meetings, resulting in more than €11 million in investments. These investments have primarily focused on the healthcare, environmental, energy transition, and sustainable finance sectors.

The platform leverages the “Villages by CA” network, Crédit Agricole Group’s international startup accelerator network. This network includes 44 Villages, housing over 3,000 startups and 800 partners, facilitating connections between business angels, investors, and entrepreneurs. The network also supports international development with relays in Italy, Luxembourg, and major global cities such as London, New York, Shanghai, and Tokyo.

Benoît Bourdin, Head of Innovation Markets at Indosuez Wealth Management, emphasized the platform's role in fostering entrepreneurship and innovation. “At Indosuez, we support entrepreneurship and innovation. StartUp Connections is all about making connections – the aim being to create a virtuous circle, both personally and professionally – between our investor clients and the founders of the startups in our ecosystem. The platform also contributes to the overall improvement of the experience of these clients and investors.”

Launched in Paris in 2020, the Indosuez Innovation Lab focuses on three key areas: familiarizing employees with digital technology, experimenting and executing projects, and involving clients and prospects in the innovation process through a dedicated showroom.
