Inside Monaco’s Stage: New Moods Prepares for Fall Reopening

When the doors of the New Moods reopen on October 1st, the intimate concert venue on the Place du Casino will launch its third consecutive season. Since its 2024 revival initiated by Stéphane Valeri, President-Delegate of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, the venue has solidified its position as a staple of the principality's autumn and winter social calendar.

Running through March 27, 2027, the upcoming season will feature a diverse lineup of tribute acts exploring rock, pop, and French and Italian variety. Under the artistic direction of Alfonso Ciulla, the venue has curated a schedule welcoming renowned international performers alongside local talent, including the Monegasque rock group Rabata Roca and the MC Talents showcase.

The performance calendar spans eras and genres, opening with the Ed Sheeran Experience (October 1–3) and continuing with tributes to ABBA, Madonna, Amy Winehouse, Oasis, Céline Dion, Lady Gaga, Daniel Balavoine, Michel Sardou, Johnny Hallyday, Sting, and Coldplay through the end of December. The new year brings further performances dedicated to Eros Ramazzotti, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Whitney Houston, Dire Straits, Depeche Mode, Francis Cabrel, Queen, Bob Marley, France Gall, Elvis Presley, U2, and the Rolling Stones.

Beyond its evening concerts — held Thursday through Saturday from 7:30 PM to midnight — the venue continues to cater to families. The New Moods will host two special daytime events: an October 28 Halloween celebration for children aged 4 to 12, and a December 20 holiday event tailored for toddlers, complete with entertainment, decor, and a dedicated family space.

Culinary offerings for the season have been designed by Victor Marion, chef of the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo, who has introduced a menu centered on sharing and gastronomy. Operated under the direction of Stéphane Lobono, the 120-seat seated (and 200-standing) venue also functions as a fully equipped "Plug & Play" private event space available year-round for corporate gatherings and celebrations.
