In the historic Salle Belle Époque of the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, Jardins d’Arménie Royal Brandy marked its official European debut on the evening of September 13, 2025. The event brought together approximately one hundred guests for a celebration of Armenian cultural heritage through art, music, and craftsmanship.
The launch, held under the high patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and in the presence of Arman Khachatryan, the Ambassador of Armenia to France, served as both a diplomatic and cultural milestone. Armenian folk dances and traditional music accompanied a gastronomic program, culminating in an exclusive art exhibition organized in collaboration with Galerie Angelina and the Artists’ Union of Armenia.
Yet the centerpiece of the evening was the spirit itself: Jardins d’Arménie Royal Brandy, a creation that introduces what its founders call a new category in the world of fine spirits - Royal Brandy.

A Distinctive Spirit, Rooted in Heritage
Crafted from Voskehat grapes harvested across three distinct Armenian regions, Jardins d’Arménie reflects both the depth of the country’s viticultural tradition and a commitment to contemporary refinement. The brandy undergoes a three-stage maturation process, beginning in oak casks that lend warm notes of chocolate and vanilla. The spirit is then transferred into apricot wood barrels - a signature innovation - before returning to oak for final aging. The result is a structured and elegant profile, characterized by aromatic complexity and a long, refined finish.
Two design elements further distinguish the offering. A patent-pending hermetic cap, composed of two interlocking parts, ensures an airtight seal that preserves the brandy’s integrity from bottling to glass. Each bottle is also accompanied by a set of custom degustation cups, allowing connoisseurs a more nuanced appreciation of the spirit’s profile.
“Jardins d’Arménie is much more than a spirit: it is cultural heritage and savoir-faire handed down from generation to generation,” said Bruno Scavo, former Head Sommelier of Monte Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, who led guests through a guided tasting during the event. Scavo, also a journalist for Vins & Gastronomie, praised the brandy’s complexity and elegance.

A Vision Passed Between Generations
The launch of Jardins d’Arménie marks the latest chapter in the legacy of the Pogossian family, renowned for their contributions to the rarefied world of artisanal production through SPS Cigaronne and Newline Brands Global LLC. Founded in 1992 by Simon Pogossian, the companies have long been associated with distinction and innovation across more than 40 countries.
Today, that vision is being carried forward by Armen Pogossian, 27. With Jardins d’Arménie, Pogossian brings a new energy to a longstanding family commitment to excellence and cultural preservation.

“Jardins d’Arménie is the expression of our history, our art, and our savoir-faire. Each sip embodies the strength of our land, the finesse of our craftsmanship, and centuries of tradition,” said Pogossian. “To unveil it in Monaco, in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, is a powerful symbol: sharing Armenian excellence with Europe.”
Beneath the glow of Belle Époque chandeliers, a centuries-old heritage found new voice - refined, distilled, and ready to be shared with the world.
