Monaco Celebrates 17th Tree-Planting Initiative for Newborns

Yesterday, the Mairie de Monaco hosted the 17th edition of its environmental initiative, "Un arbre, une naissance" (One Tree, One Birth), in the Saint-James Garden. This long-standing operation aims to plant a tree for every newborn in the Principality, creating a living legacy for future generations.

The event, which signifies a concrete commitment to reforestation, saw the attendance of several notable figures, including Stéphane Valeri, President-Delegate of the Société des Bains de Mer, and members of the Communal Council. This collaborative effort, integrated into the "Plantons pour la planète" (Let's Plant for the Planet) campaign, has successfully resulted in the planting of over 15,000 trees to date.

The success of "Un arbre, une naissance" is a testament to the community's commitment to environmental sustainability. The initiative not only beautifies the Principality but also educates younger generations on the importance of ecological conservation.
