Monaco Celebrates Fifth Anniversary of Mediterranean Culture Fair With Diplomatic Gala

The Principality of Monaco commenced the fifth annual edition of the "Monaco Méditerranée" exhibition with an official inaugural evening, gathering prominent local officials and regional diplomatic representatives to mark five years of the cultural initiative. The opening reception established the framework for a multi-day showcase dedicated to the preservation, exchange, and contemporary expression of Mediterranean heritage, craftsmanship, and artisanal traditions.

The municipal and national leadership of the Principality maintained a significant presence at the introductory event. Among the high-profile attendees were Marjorie Crovetto, the Deputy Mayor of Monaco, alongside Corinne Bertani and Maryse Battaglia, both serving as members of Monaco's National Council. Isabelle Rosabrunetto also attended the gathering, which drew numerous institutional figures representing the foundational public entities of the administrative center.

The international scope of the fair was underscored by a distinguished diplomatic delegation from across the Mediterranean basin. Official attendees included the Consul of Monaco to Tunisia, the Consul of Turkey to Monaco, and the Consul of Algeria to Monaco. Their collective presence highlighted the event's underlying objective to reinforce international cultural diplomacy and foster regional cooperation among neighboring coastal states.

Organizers noted that the inaugural gala served as the prelude to a comprehensive public program hosted at the Grimaldi Forum. Operating from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., the main exhibition was structured to provide visitors, independent creators, and regional entrepreneurs with a shared platform for cross-cultural commerce and educational exchange. The convention floor featured curated presentations focusing on regional gastronomy, design, and traditional craftsmanship, effectively converting the local venue into an active hub for Mediterranean culture.
