The Automobile Club de Monaco and Formula E have agreed to a multi-year partnership extension, securing the Monaco E-Prix on the international racing calendar through 2031.
The commitment reinforces the Principality's position as a focal point for zero-emission motorsport, ensuring that the world's premier electric racing series will continue to navigate the historic streets of Monte Carlo into the next decade. What began in 2015 as a biennial event on a truncated layout has evolved into an annual double-header running on the iconic full-length circuit.
Alongside the long-term agreement, event organizers confirmed updated dates for the 2027 edition. The 2027 Monaco E-Prix double-header will take place on May 1 and May 2, moving two weeks earlier to align with the Principality's broader event schedule.
As the series prepares for its next technical iteration, the long-term deal guarantees that Monaco will remain an essential testing ground for high-performance electric vehicle innovation and street-circuit engineering.
