Monaco Economic Board Connects With Future Leaders at Sciences Po Menton

MENTON, France — Representatives of the Monaco Economic Board (MEB) attended the rentrée solennelle at the Sciences Po campus in Menton, an institution renowned for its focus on the political, economic, and social dynamics of the Mediterranean and Middle East basins.
Guillaume Rose, Executive Managing Director of the MEB, and his deputy Justin Highman—who also serves as co-President of the Sciences Po Alumni of Monaco—participated in the opening ceremonies. Welcomed by campus director Youssef Halaoua, the delegation utilized the morning to engage with key figures linked to regions vital to the Principality’s economic ecosystem.
A central highlight of the gathering was the inaugural lecture delivered by writer Kamel Daoud, recipient of the 2024 Prix Goncourt. The campus maintains a collaborative partnership with Monaco’s International Cooperation Government Directorate, renewed last year, which enables students from Lebanon, Tunisia, Morocco, and Mauritania to attend the institution. For the MEB, the engagement offers a strategic channel to connect with emerging talent poised to shape the economic leadership of those regions.
