The Mairie de Monaco has officially launched its annual slate of summer public activities, introducing a dual-site strategy to accommodate the seasonal influx of residents and international visitors. This year, the municipal administration has expanded its traditional programming by establishing a secondary event hub at the Larvotto beach district, complementing the longstanding seaside installations at Port Hercule.
The newly introduced Larvotto site is scheduled to operate through August 16, 2026. Designed primarily to cater to families, the beachfront venue features an array of interactive attractions, including trampolines, a traditional duck-fishing game, iris photography stations, and temporary hair-braiding and tattoo workshops. To support the increased foot traffic along the promenade, municipal planners have incorporated dedicated shaded rest areas on the waterfront, flanked by specialized food stalls offering hot dogs and various confections.
Concurrently, preparations are underway for the seasonal transformation of Port Hercule. The historic harbor area will begin its summer programming on July 10, 2026, utilizing a phased rollout strategy before achieving full operational capacity on July 24, 2026. The Port Hercule installations, which will run through August 9, 2026, are set to offer a mixture of fairground rides, athletic activities, and dedicated dining areas.

According to municipal guidelines issued for the summer operations, the public can access the various entertainment stands and games daily from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The accompanying culinary and refreshment stands are scheduled to operate on an extended schedule, opening at 11:30 AM and concluding service at 10:30 PM. The distributed programming reflects a concerted effort by the local government to manage public space efficiently while expanding recreational infrastructure across the Principality's coastline.
