On Wednesday, October 15, the Princely Palace of Monaco played host to a distinguished ceremony marking the annual presentation of the Prince Pierre Foundation prizes, a tradition steeped in the principality’s deep-rooted commitment to the arts. The event, held under the presidency of Her Royal Highness the Princess of Hanover, celebrated contemporary creativity with the conferral of three prestigious awards.

Established in 1966 by Prince Rainier III in honor of his father, Prince Pierre - a prominent patron of literature and the arts - the foundation continues to champion innovative talent. The ceremony saw Their Serene Highnesses the Prince and the Princess of Hanover personally present the awards, extending heartfelt congratulations to the laureates.

This year’s recipients included Louis-Philippe Dalembert, who received the Literary Prize for his notable contributions to the field; Ruben Barrouk, awarded the Discovery Scholarship for his emerging promise; and Simone Fattal, honored with the International Prize for Contemporary Art for her groundbreaking work.

The event reaffirmed Monaco’s enduring legacy as a cultural beacon, a testament to Prince Pierre’s vision of fostering artistic excellence.
