Dr. Gavin A. Schmidt, director of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies, received the science award for his essential contributions to climate modeling and making scientific knowledge accessible to all. Ernst Götsch was honored in the innovation and solutions category for pioneering syntropic agriculture, a revolutionary model that regenerates soil, restores biodiversity, and inspires farmers worldwide.
