Monaco Hosts Michelin Guide Ceremony for First Time, Celebrating New Stars and Culinary Symbiosis

The annual Michelin Guide awards ceremony was held for the first time in the Principality of Monaco, taking place at the Grimaldi Forum in the presence of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II and Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene.

In the prestigious Salle des Princes, the Sovereign Prince hailed the event as a unique “symbiosis” between the Michelin Guide and Monaco. He noted that the Monegasque territory, spanning just 2 square kilometers, concentrates an extraordinary density of stars.

The ceremony awarded a third star to Chef Michaël Arnoult of Les Morainières in Savoie. The Principality also shone as Robuchon Monaco, directed by Chef Jonathan Larrieu, received its first star.

The Princely Couple expressed their appreciation for the talent, transmission and audacity of these creators, who continue to illuminate the French art of living across the world.
