Monaco Hosts Public Forum on the Horizon of Space Exploration

As international space programs undergo a monumental shift toward commercial partnerships and deep-space missions, the broader policy and scientific implications of orbital travel continue to captivate public discourse. On Friday, September 11, 2026, the Monaco Méditerranée Foundation (MMF) will convene a public lecture addressing these evolving dynamics.

Titled "Space exploration today and tomorrow," the conference will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the One Monte-Carlo conference venue, located at 1 Place du Casino. Organized under the MMF’s ongoing intellectual speaker series, the event centers on European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Thomas Pesquet, who will lead the keynote discussion regarding upcoming lunar initiatives, low-Earth orbit research, and long-term interplanetary capabilities.

While attendance is free to the public, mandatory advance registration is required through the foundation. By hosting key voices in international aerospace science, the Principality continues to reinforce its role as a regional platform for diplomatic, environmental, and technological dialogue.
