Monaco Launches 28th Edition of Taste Week, Engaging Young Students in Culinary Discovery

The 28th edition of the Semaine du Goût (Taste Week) officially began in the Principality with a launch event held at the Hôtel Hermitage. The ceremony took place in the presence of Lionel Beffre, Government Counsellor-Minister of the Interior, and Jean-Philippe Vinci, Director of National Education, Youth and Sports.

The morning program unveiled the event’s schedule to representatives from schools, attending students, and chefs. Following the presentation, participants visited CE2 (fourth-grade) classrooms, where children tasted dishes prepared with sweet potato and coconut.

Organized by the association Monaco Goût et Saveurs, the initiative aims to introduce elementary school classes across Monaco to the pleasures of gastronomy, fostering an early appreciation for flavors, ingredients, and culinary traditions.
