The Princely Government, committed to promoting the broad dissemination and application of International Humanitarian Law, has renewed its partnership with the International Institute of Humanitarian Law in San Remo, Italy.
On Friday, June 7, Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Government Counselor for External Relations and Cooperation, signed a renewed funding agreement with Lieutenant General Giorgio Battisti, President of the International Institute of Humanitarian Law in San Remo. This agreement extends the Princely Government's support for the Institute's legal training activities for an additional two years.
Founded in 1970 in Sanremo, the Institute is an internationally recognized center of academic excellence, working closely with major international organizations dedicated to humanitarian causes.
Since 2020, the Princely Government has supported training activities in international humanitarian law, human rights, and refugee law, particularly by facilitating the participation of representatives from developing countries.
