DESPITE its title, The Winter Banquet in London is the hottest ticket in town - and many Monegasques will be making their way to the UK capital for the gala charity event.
Under the patronage of Lord Răzvan Vasile and Lady Nicoleta Baroness of Brattleby, the white-tie dinner and ball, will be held at the Royal Horseguards Hotel in London on Saturday, December 6.
Among a star-studded list of guests will be Princess Katarina of Yugoslavia, Romanian entrepreneurs Christian Onetiu and Simon Maurer, top designer Karen Millen, actor Nicholas Pinnock and The King’s Speech producer Mark Foligno.
The evening will be raising money for the Healing the Wounded Child charity which helps people overcome obstacles triggered by unresolved past traumas, whether in childhood or life in general.

Nicoleta, Baroness of Brattleby said: “We are delighted to be working with such a worthwhile charity and I’m hoping that the banquet will be an unqualified success to enable them to continue their great and much-needed work.
Lord Răzvan Vasile added: “I am sure this will be a life-changing night for those who receive help from our nominated charity, which we are truly proud to be associated with.”
The charity’s founder Maria Elliott said: “As our name suggests we are focused on supporting and mentoring people from war-torn countries. We aim to help these people forge a new path and provide new career opportunities. We cannot thank the host and hostess enough for linking up with us.”
