Monaco’s sporting calendar will gain early momentum next month as the Monaco Run Gramaglia returns on 14 and 15 February 2026 with an unprecedented level of participation. Around 4,500 runners are expected to take part, marking the largest turnout in the event’s history and confirming its growing popularity among both local and international athletes.
Interest in the race has been particularly strong this year, with two of the flagship events—the City Trail on Saturday and the 10 km road race on Sunday—selling out well ahead of race weekend. Registration remains open, however, for the more demanding 30 km Trail du Mont Agel, which will take place on Saturday morning, as well as the 5 km racescheduled for Sunday. Late entries are also available through the solidarity bib programme until the day before each race. Younger participants will not be left out, with free 1,000-metre races organised for children on Saturday afternoon.
The event’s continued expansion is supported by the renewal of its title partnership. The Gramaglia Group has confirmed its commitment to the Monaco Run through 2029, extending a collaboration that began in 2024. The Monaco-based family company, active in insurance brokerage, real estate and property management, views the race as a unifying event for the Principality.
According to the Monaco Athletics Federation, the partnership reflects shared values of community engagement and sporting development. Organisers also highlight the diversity of formats as a key strength, combining urban routes, mountain trails and accessible races for all levels.
Racing begins early on Saturday with the Trail du Mont Agel at 8:30 a.m., followed by the City Trail through Monaco’s streets and stairways. Sunday will focus on road racing, with the 10 km and 5 km events, alongside the Pink Ribbon Walk, dedicated to breast cancer awareness.
A Running Expo at Quai Albert Ier will run throughout the weekend, offering bib collection, exhibitor stands and a central meeting point for runners and spectators alike.
