Amidst the grandeur of the Monaco Yacht Show 2023, Monte Carlo's illustrious Brooks Brothers store at the Yacht Club de Monaco became the setting for a pivotal diplomatic occasion. Earlier that day, four distinguished ambassadors presented their Letters of Credence to H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince, marking the beginning of their official tenure in Monaco.
Later, in the luxurious ambiance of the Hermitage Hotel, Ms. Marie-Catherine CARUSO-RAVERA, the Director of Diplomatic and Consular Relations and representative of the Government Counselor-Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, hosted a luncheon in their honor.
Among the esteemed guests was S.E. M. Gocha JAVAKHISHVILI, Georgia's Ambassador. A Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris III alumnus, Mr. JAVAKHISHVILI has been deeply involved in diplomatic relations, having served in various capacities, including a significant stint at UNESCO. He now represents Georgia in France and UNESCO.
S.E. M. Saïd MOUSSI of Algeria was another notable presence. With an academic background from the University of Lille III, he has represented Algeria in Paris and Madrid. His current role sees him as the Algerian Ambassador to France, Andorra, and UNESCO.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's representation was in the capable hands of S.E. M. Fahad M. AL RUWAILY. A seasoned diplomat with a rich academic background from Riyadh and Brussels, he has been a pillar in the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1990. He now serves as the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to France.
Lastly, S.E. M. Marc UNGEHEUER from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg graced the occasion. With a diverse academic and diplomatic portfolio, Mr. UNGEHEUER has represented Luxembourg across Asia and Europe. His current assignment is as the Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to France, with additional responsibilities in La Francophonie.
