Monaco is set to feature in the sixth season of the hit Netflix series Emily in Paris, with filming expected to begin in May, according to industry reports.
The Principality will join Greece as one of the new destinations for the upcoming season, continuing the show’s tradition of showcasing iconic European locations. Previous seasons have included settings such as Paris, Rome, Venice, Saint-Tropez and Megève, all contributing to the series’ signature blend of romance, fashion and travel.
The main cast is expected to return, including Lily Collins, alongside Lucas Bravo, Ashley Park and Lucien Laviscount. While official plot details remain undisclosed, early hints suggest a continuation of Emily’s relationship with Gabriel, the French chef whose storyline left off with a possible reunion abroad.
Season five proved to be a strong success, debuting at number two on Netflix’s global Top 10 and attracting over 13 million views within its first few days. Series creator Darren Star has previously described Gabriel as a central figure in the story, reinforcing expectations that his character will remain key to the narrative.
Although specific filming locations within Monaco have not yet been confirmed, the addition of the Principality further enhances the show’s reputation for glamorous backdrops. With its iconic scenery and international appeal, Monaco is expected to play a visually striking role in the new season.
