From April 7 to 9, 2024, the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco will serve as the prestigious venue for the inaugural PADEL BEST EXPO, orchestrated by the Italian enterprise BSG, which previously spearheaded the FIVE PADEL CUP in April 2023. This event promises to be a confluence of international sports legends, with a particular emphasis on football, alongside other sports icons.
The exposition is set to feature the CUPRA FIP TOUR 2024, a global professional circuit under the aegis of the International Padel Federation. This tour comprises 120 tournaments across the globe, and the Monaco stage at the PADEL BEST EXPO will offer an official competition, distinct from the FIVE PADEL CUP, allowing participants to vie for points contributing to their global rankings.
The PADEL BEST EXPO aims to capture the essence of padel, showcasing leading brands and innovations in the sport over three days. Roberta Ceccarelli, CEO of BSG, emphasized the expo's focus on entertainment, the sport's community, and technological advancements in padel equipment. The event seeks to highlight the sport's latest trends in a setting designed for networking among professionals and enthusiasts alike.
The Grimaldi Forum will display the newest in padel equipment and courts, inviting attendees to immerse themselves in the sport, whether they are seasoned players or newcomers eager to learn from experts present at the event.
Moreover, the expo will coincide with the second edition of the FIVE PADEL CUP, featuring temporary padel courts within the Grimaldi Forum to host five tournaments, celebrating the sport's universal appeal and diversity.
Highlighting the expo's significance, Andriy Shevchenko, the Ukrainian football legend and 2004 Ballon d'Or recipient, will partake in the event, serving as the Ambassador of "Football for Ukraine," with a portion of proceeds going to the associated cause.
BSG's partnership with the Monegasque Padel Federation underscores the expo's role in promoting padel within Monaco and on an international stage, with both entities expressing pride and optimism for this collaborative effort.
The event will also support charitable causes, including FIGHT AIDS MONACO, founded by H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie, with a portion of the funds raised allocated to this initiative.
