In a formal ceremony mirroring the civic traditions of the Principality, Monaco’s newest law enforcement officers officially entered public service this Monday at the Auditorium Rainier III.
The event marked the graduation of approximately 30 new police officers and two new lieutenants, concluding an intensive 10-month training regimen. The graduates represent the 36th cohort of police officers and the 40th cohort of student lieutenants.
During the ceremony, the inductees received their professional credentials and epaulets. The proceedings were held in the presence of high-ranking representatives of the Principality's authorities, alongside the cohorts' official godmother (marraine), Charlotte Casiraghi.
The graduation highlights the ongoing structural reinforcement of Monaco's civil security apparatus under the oversight of local authorities and the Sûreté Publique.
