Monaco Yacht Show 2024: 30,000 Visitors, Luxury and Sustainable Innovation

The 33rd Monaco Yacht Show made a remarkable impact this year, drawing close to 30,000 visitors, including yacht owners, potential buyers, charter clients, and industry experts to Port Hercule from September 25 to 28, 2024. This year’s edition presented an impressive fleet of 120 superyachts, with over half being under two years old. Among them were 46 vessels making their global debut, along with 15 that had launched in 2023.

This year’s show was specially designed to create a more immersive and refined experience for visitors. The Parvis Piscine tent and the Upper Deck Lounge, dedicated to luxurious and bespoke interior design, were a hub for visitors looking to elevate their on-board living spaces. Meanwhile, Quai Albert 1er and Darse Sud hosted the Sustainability Hub, focusing on cutting-edge technology and eco-conscious solutions.

On the opening day, private clients had exclusive access to the Dockside Area, home to the superyacht display as well as the Yacht Design & Innovation Hub, allowing them to connect with designers and industry professionals in a more intimate setting. In addition, the leisure section on Quai Antoine 1er and Quai Jarlan showcased luxury vehicles and 61 different yacht annexes, broadening the lifestyle appeal of the show.

Sustainability was at the forefront of the event, as the 554 participating companies reaffirmed their dedication to reducing the environmental impact of the yachting lifestyle. Through 22 insightful conferences, co-organized with Superyacht Times and exhibitors, the industry explored critical topics such as alternative propulsion systems, sustainable material usage, integrating artificial intelligence, and creating yachts with distinct, eco-friendly brand identities.

Beyond the displays and talks, the Monaco Yacht Show took extra steps toward environmental responsibility by optimizing energy usage, improving waste management, and reducing transportation emissions. These efforts underscore a growing commitment within the yachting world to harmonize luxury with environmental stewardship.

Looking ahead, the 34th edition of the Monaco Yacht Show will return to Port Hercule from September 24 to 27, 2025, promising another opportunity to witness the convergence of luxury and innovation in yachting.
