As the countdown begins for the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show, the Prince’s Government has unveiled strict new access rules for Port Hercule, reflecting the event’s growing scale and international prestige. From 24 to 27 September, the port will operate under a highly controlled regime designed to safeguard both visitors and yachts.
Access to the harbour will be tightly restricted: Port Hercule will be completely closed between midnight and 7 a.m. throughout the four-day show. Outside these hours, entry will be limited exclusively to vessels holding an official S.A.M. Monaco Yacht Show badge. The measure aims to manage the flow around the 120 superyachts on display, ensuring smooth navigation along the busy pontoons.
Safety is a top priority. All vessels will be required to maintain a maximum speed of just three knots while inside the port, a precaution necessary due to the high density of yachts and activity during the event. Enhanced security patrols will be on duty to oversee compliance, reflecting the show’s stature as one of the most prestigious gatherings in the yachting calendar.
Owners seeking harbour access are advised to act quickly. Badge applications opened on 18 August and must be submitted by 9 September; no late requests will be accepted. Interested parties can contact the S.A.M. Monaco Yacht Show directly at +377 93 10 41 70 to secure their passes.
These measures underscore the logistics behind an event that attracts elite yachts and an international clientele to Monaco each year. With meticulous planning, security, and traffic management, the 2025 edition promises the seamless, high-end experience that participants have come to expect from one of the world’s premier yacht shows.
