This spring, Mairie de Monaco invites families to celebrate Easter with a charming programme of activities designed for children and parents alike. Taking place over the holiday weekend, the initiative brings together nature, creativity, and festive fun in two of Monaco’s most beloved green spaces.
The celebrations begin on Saturday, April 4, at the picturesque Jardin Exotique de Monaco. Known for its spectacular views and rare plant collections, the garden will host its much-anticipated Easter plant hunt. Open to children aged 5 to 12 who live or study in Monaco, the activity runs from 09:30 to 12:30 and promises a delightful morning of exploration.
Young participants will search for small plants carefully hidden along the garden’s pathways and borders, turning the experience into a playful adventure through nature. At the end of the hunt, each child will be rewarded with a bag of chocolate eggs, adding a sweet touch to the morning. Participation is free for both the child and one accompanying adult, although prior registration is required due to limited availability.
The festivities continue on Sunday, April 5, at the family-friendly Parc Princesse Antoinette. From 14:00 to 17:30, the park will transform into a lively Easter playground, offering a wide range of entertainment. Children can enjoy face painting, creative workshops, outdoor games, and interactive moments with mascots, as well as a dedicated photo area to capture the day’s joyful memories.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the park has been beautifully decorated for the occasion, with Easter-themed installations created by the gardeners already on display since March 20. Unlike the Saturday event, Sunday’s celebration is open to all, with free entry and no registration required.
Blending tradition, nature, and family-friendly entertainment, Monaco’s Easter programme promises a warm and memorable celebration for residents and young visitors alike.
