The celebrated venue Moods in Monaco is set for a grand revival, returning as "New Moods" with an official opening on December 5th. Monaco’s entertainment scene is buzzing with anticipation, and the venue's rebranding marks an exciting chapter under the guidance of Director Stéphane Lobono and Artistic Director Alfonso Ciulla of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer (SBM).
Driven by high public interest and initiated by SBM’s Deputy Chairman Stéphane Valeri, this iconic venue’s revival is designed to capture the spirit of the past while embracing new artistic elements. Located near Café de Paris Monte-Carlo, New Moods keeps its iconic basement location, now enhanced with warm, cabaret-inspired decor that includes plush velvet seating, red carpets, and ambient brass fixtures, creating an intimate vibe reminiscent of classic New York and English music clubs.
Entering New Moods, visitors will descend into a spacious hall that leads into a reimagined performance area, complete with a new side stage to broaden live show options. True to its origins, the venue's programming will focus on live music, featuring tribute acts alongside unique performances curated for an authentic, music-focused experience. This revival prioritizes accessibility, welcoming a diverse audience of music lovers for evenings that celebrate live performances over traditional dinner-and-show formats.
For disco enthusiasts, New Moods will revive nostalgia with vinyl-based post-concert “Selecta” sessions, bringing back the charm of classic disco nights. Guests can enjoy free entry from 6pm to 8pm, with a €50 charge afterward. The menu will showcase bites from two Michelin-starred Chef Marcel Ravin, adding to the luxurious experience. Open from Thursday to Saturday, New Moods will run seasonally, from October through March.
